Her research focuses on developing and implementing machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to estimate spatially correlated mineral grades and solve other mining problems. She also specializes in incorporating human decision-making into AI through Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes for more accurate spatial estimation. Currently, she is working on optimizing the number, location, and injection rate of wells using reinforcement learning
